Spanish courses in Estepona

 At Spanish Language Estepona, we offer English courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our goal is for each student to improve their language skills effectively and practically, developing listening, writing, reading, and speaking abilities.


 We have native, highly qualified teachers who adapt each class to your needs and learning pace. We also offer the option of taking courses online, in person, or in a blended format, so you can choose the option that best suits your lifestyle.


To do this, we have different levels:

  • A1 (Access)

    The student can understand and use common expressions and simple phrases to meet everyday needs. They can provide information about themselves and ask personal questions. They can make themselves understood in simple terms and express basic opinions and feelings (60 hours).

  • A2 (Inicial)

    The student can understand and use common expressions related to their environment (family, work, friends, studies, etc.). They can make themselves understood in simple everyday situations and hold a basic conversation. Their reading comprehension will allow them to understand simple informational and literary texts (90 hours).

  • B1 (Intermediate)

    You will understand the main points of a conversation in standard Spanish and when discussing familiar topics (work, studies, leisure, etc.). You will have a general understanding of our sociocultural context and will be able to handle most linguistic situations that may arise while traveling. You will be able to write longer texts and letters. You will be able to express your opinion and argue about topics of personal interest simply and coherently, and you will be able to talk about experiences and events. (120 hours)

  • B2 (Advanced)

    Can understand the main points of complex texts on both abstract and concrete topics, as well as specialized dialogues with which they are familiar. Can express themselves fluently and spontaneously so that normal conversation with a native speaker does not require significant effort for either party. Can produce texts of some length and grammatical complexity. Can express their opinion on a wide range of subjects clearly and in detail. (150 hours)

  • C1 (Higher)

    Can understand a large amount of long and complex text. Can express themselves spontaneously and fluently. Can use language effectively and flexibly in social, professional, and academic situations. Can employ stylistic and creative resources in writing. Can express their opinion on complex matters clearly, in a structured and detailed manner. (180 hours)

  • C2 (Native)

    The student can understand almost everything they hear or read effortlessly. They can comprehend information from diverse sources, both written and oral, and simultaneously interpret explanations and reasoning into a coherent description. They can express themselves spontaneously with fluency and precision; they even grasp subtle nuances in complex circumstances.

Regular Course 3 hours/week

Aimed at all Spanish students who wish to reinforce what they have learned and improve their conversation skills. In this course, we use textbooks adapted to the student's level, combined with audio and video materials. The classes are very engaging, and students will improve not only their grammar but also their understanding of colloquial structures.

Regular Course 6 Hours/Week

The main feature of this course is that the student can enter and leave the recommended group without fixed dates.


This course is designed for resident students who want to combine the course with work, or for long-stay tourists who prefer to learn at a more relaxed pace to make the most of their free time while still learning.

Students can choose whether they wish to attend in-person classes. If they have to travel, they can continue with their classes online so as not to fall behind the group.

Semi-Intensive Course

The semi-intensive course, like the intensive course, is designed for all beginners and non-beginners who want to learn Spanish effectively and with good results.

We have specialized materials and resources for optimal language learning. This course is designed for students who need to learn the language at a more intensive pace.

INTENSIVE COURSE

The intensive course is designed for all beginners who want to get by in Spanish during their stay in our country or for those who are not beginners who want to perfect the language.

Private and semi-private courses

  • Classes: To be arranged by the student.
  • Schedule: To be agreed upon with the student and the availability of the teaching staff.

DELE preparation course

This course is designed for students who already have the required level and want to take the official DELE exams to obtain the official title from the Cervantes Institute.


The exam consists of four parts: reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension, and speaking. Your teacher will prepare you in all four skills to familiarize you with this type of test.


We prepare students for the DELE exam at levels A2, B1, B2, and C1; however, you can consult the description of each level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) here. For each level, this course lasts a total of 30 hours.

Course for companies

Increasing globalization allows many companies to hire employees who can relocate to Spain to improve their Spanish (or simply work here). To address this, companies can request Spanish language training programs for their employees. These courses are designed with specific short-term objectives.


Spanish Language Estepona offers it either 'in company' or in our academy.

The duration, schedule, number of students and final price will depend on the company's needs.

You can request these courses for groups of 1 to a maximum of 15 students.

Spanish Language Estepona is registered with the State Registry of Training Entities for the delivery of training courses. We have been part of FUNDAE (State Foundation for Training and Employment) since 1994, a state agency that allows courses to be subsidized up to 100%.

Spanish course applied to business and commerce

During the Spanish for Business and Commerce course, you will learn to handle any situation related to business and commerce, its specific grammar and vocabulary, as well as information on the most important companies in Spain. You will practice common business scenarios such as: personal interviews, product descriptions, sales presentations, negotiation, etc.
